The second Sunday in November is Remembrance Sunday and is when we remember those who served their monarch and country in times of war, including those who died as a result of war. A service in each Church commemorates the glorious dead, and we recommit ourselves never to forget the sacrifice that they made as we say ‘we will remember them’. Wreaths are placed at the Cenotaph as a practical way of remembering.
