There is a church car park with enough parking space for 4 to 5 cars, and a few cars can park on the Lane by the Church. Most wedding guests should park on the road by the Wentbridge House Hotel and walk up.

If you are planning a wedding service at Wentbridge please arrange for an usher to stand at the bottom of Jackson’s Lane by the road and ask people to park on the road by the bridge.

Wentbridge Church is a Grade 2* listed building built in 1874 or thereabouts. It is a delightful building as pretty inside as out, and in a setting to die for.

St John’s Church Wentbridge is just a few hundred yards  past the Wentbridge House Hotel along Jackson’s Lane which is a bridleway which links the ancient village of Wentbridge with Brockadale woods. Cars can drive up to the Church, and brides can choose to walk up the steps to the Church or stay in the car till the Church car park, and have photos taken there. Both options give wonderful photographs and offer the bride a delightful start to their journey into Church. The views from the Church are wonderful, across the valley of the river Went.

Wentbridge Church is a beautiful setting for your special day. Choose St John’s Church and we are sure that you will not be disappointed. If you have any questions please email or phone the vicar Rev Adrian Judd who will be pleased to help with your enquiry. 01977 704744
